News and Notes: Military Parade, New Network State Drop, Spread of War
Coinbase, Palantir, Oracle Featured in Military Parade
Trump’s military parade was sponsored by some of our usual suspects: Palantir, Coinbase and Oracle.
This highlights the ongoing coup of the American military by venture capitalists, who spent billions upon billions upon billions of dollars — in fact, I suspect they probably spent all in about a trillion dollars to get Trump in the door.
Venture capitalists have and are continuously working on an entirely new war platform that is designed to displace the existing military contractors, and they have gotten a whole bunch of venture capitalists and startup people into the highest levels of the military. The nomination for undersecretary of the Army, Michael Obadal of Anduril, plus our new Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, “the nation’s highest-ranking military officer, and the principal military advisor to the President, Secretary of Defense, and National Security Council.”
Dan Caine is a venture capitalist from Shield Capital, with huge investments in the new age of warfare.
Four senior executives of tech giants like Meta and Palantir are being sworn into the Army Reserve as direct-commissioned officers at the unusually high rank of lieutenant colonel as part of a new program to recruit private-sector experts to speed up tech adoption…
The Reserve’s new lieutenant colonels are Shyam Sankar, chief technology officer for Palantir; Bosworth, chief technology officer of Meta; Kevin Weil, chief product officer of OpenAI; and Bob McGrew, an advisor at Thinking Machines Lab and former chief research officer for OpenAI.
Those companies of course… are all the same entity.
Anduril also recently announced it will be IPOing in the “medium term”, along with a recent fundraise of $2.5 billion. Led by Founders Fund (Peter Thiel’s VC fund) of course. A16Z is also an investor.
All unfolding as Israel is expanding the scope of its mass murder with aggression against Iran in contravention of international law. These wars of aggression by Israel are a market for the VC weapons systems. Venture capitalists have a very close relationship to Israel, are active participants in the genocide, and are key to the Israeli tech economy, which is… growing.
A war to them is no more than a market, an accelerant, and a land grab.
New Network State in California
Speaking of war…. there’s a new Network State entrant in California, where the Bay Area is quickly being overrun by Network State projects and aspiring projects from the Presidio to Solano County to Alcatraz to Network State towers in San Francisco and a new “village” in Healdsburg.
Via the Network State project Frontier Valley.
Its basically the same shit as every other project — give venture capitalists land and resources so they can turn it into a technology/weapons production zone with no regulations. I encourage you to check out their website, because its pretty slick. Silicon Valley are expert marketers.
One of the most important roles of the Network State is to serve as a home base for its thousands of startups, where it can evade taxation, nation-state control and oversight, the democracy, the people it oppresses and seeks to steal from, the residents of San Francisco and especially Oakland which it hates…
This location aims to focus on robotics, drones, AI, defense startups, nuclear power, quantum computing, areas that venture capital is already chock full of startups it can move right in. Every Network State will be more or less the same; to my recent post about the Network State as a distributed system, every box in the network is the same, just a series of nodes with fail-overs and multi-site replication. Very resilient and dynamic, bursting up, scaling out.
This is useful in the context of war. Distributed warfare. This is how we do everything in the industry. Conway’s Law.
Frontier Valley (which I suppose is a clever play on Silicon Valley, took me a minute), advertises “The most expedited regulatory code in the US for accelerating deep tech”, “5-10x acceleration beyond status quo across many deep tech verticals”, “Founder-led governance structure”. In the Network State, venture capitalists and startup founders are the heads of state and the mode and substance of governance. As I have said before, we don’t have to wonder what the governance of the Network State will look like because it is simply the colonial and imperial expansion of the existing model. The essential footprint of who they are and how they operate is unchanged.
The whole thing is wrapped in war hawking at China, proposing that Trump sign an executive order (which they helpfully drafted lmfao), and declare a fucking NATIONAL SECURITY EMERGENCY over China to get this thing done.
“A national emergency exists with respect to domestic capacity for next-generation compute paradigms, autonomous humanoid and swarm robotics, next-generation energy paradigms, quantum computing, AI-driven advanced manufacturing, strategic advanced materials, and other critical technologies essential to maintaining technological superiority. All executive departments and agencies shall act consistent with this order to remove delay.”
The China “threat” can be juiced like an orange to get money and acquiesce from the state and from taxpayers. If you think China isn’t aware that there is a rising fascist threat that is calling for them by name, don’t be naive. Allowing this type of bald faced warmongering is dangerous as fuck, and venture capitalists have been beating this drum around the clock for years now; their entire apparatus is revolving around this, building itself to go to war with China.
Something which is totally unnecessary and should be avoided at all cost, is being artificially and greedily forwarded. We are on our way to WWIII. There will be a number of wars that precede it, and these are already unfolding across the Middle East. Soon Latin America…
LowKey highlighted in a new segment, this 2024 article in which Palantir’s Alex Karp, stated we are “‘very likely’ to end up in a three-front war with China, Russia and Iran.”
Well, that’s all for today! I have a few longer analytical pieces coming up for y’all soon.
