Terrible News: Network State Próspera Gets Closer to Land for Colonies in Africa
fDi’s Danielle Myles has a huge scoop on the growth of Próspera into Africa.
“Próspera close to clinching its first private city in Africa
Investors using the charter city platform behind the pioneering Próspera Roatan project in Honduras are speaking to a dozen governments across Africa about launching private cities on the continent.
The African chapter of Próspera expects to announce its first autonomous city by year-end, which is envisaged to be 750 to 1000 hectares making it up to five times the size of Monaco.”
In January 2024, Próspera announced Próspera Africa, stating:
“🚀 Big news alert! 🌍 Exciting announcement from @ magattew , co-founding Próspera Africa to extend the transformative governance model from Próspera. A visionary step towards improved governance and prosperity across the globe.”
This co-founder is Magatte Wade, who has quickly become a face of the Network State.
We’ve covered this previously in this blog and it is also discussed on vcinfodocs.com. Major progress on the attainment of land is extremely troubling:
“Talks are most advanced with two countries in Africa — one in the south-east and another in the west — which Wade said are ‘racing right now’ to launch the first Próspera city on the continent. It will also be the second in the world after Roatan, and she hopes to announce the location ‘very soon’.”
This is a clear demonstration of how each Network State is a hub, designed to spawn more sites around the world. For example, Praxis is talking about both having a Network State colony on American soil while continuing to pursue its plans for a second site internationally.
The targeting of Africa is incredibly concerning particularly due to the industrial and mining focus of the Network State, which is building mining companies. This is a profound market for them and is also a matter of competition with China. Venture capitalists hope to gain an edge over China. Many African nations are partnering with China on the Belts and Roads initiative, to which the Network State is a fascist counter.
The Network State is going to war with the world. It is vital to take a global perspective and to build a global resistance. The pillaging of Latin America and Africa by tech fascism is only beginning, and will someday be a theatre of war for their great power conflict with China.
Resist.
