The Tech Fascist Baby Boom
Hyperbreeding, Network State Population Growth and Civilization Building
The top tech fascists have been trying to force their workers into a baby boom for some time.
In 2022, when Andreessen Horowitz was launching its American Dynamism (aka American Coup) campaign, we saw overwhelming baby fever coming out of venture capital.
One a16z partner, Ryan McEntush, wrote on this topic for PirateWire, extolling Israel for defying the “population crisis”… and pointing to “liberal democracy” as a root problem for population growth:
“With a fertility rate of 2.9, Israel bucks the global trend. While it doesn’t have the population to make the necessary dent on the global economy, it provides a fascinating study of the impact of culture on population growth. Jewish diaspora conforms to expected sluggish trends, but we don’t see that in Israel. Segmenting further provides some insight. As expected, religiosity correlates with fertility, yet, surprisingly, even secular Israeli women have remained above the fabled 2.1 fertility rate. What’s more, they’ve been able to achieve this despite having among the highest levels of women participation in the labor force.
This defies explanation, but I will attempt one anyway. Israel exemplifies asabiyyah, or rather the cohesive force that bonds a people, grown stronger by harsh conditions. Israelis know conflict all too well, and I believe this is reflected in an innate sense of duty to have children and prolong the vitality of their state.
This points to a worrisome conclusion. If it is indeed this strong social cohesion that can reignite fertility rates, let’s be honest: liberal democracies face an uphill battle.”
Katherine Boyle, a top partner at Andreessen Horowitz and in charge of their weapons practice, has been one of the major mouthpieces on convincing — or instructing — people in the tech world to have more babies. Elaborating on Ryan’s piece in a 2022 interview, she stated:
“I’d encourage everyone to read Ryan’s piece, because it’s about much more than the fertility crisis. One of the questions it posed for me is how Israel can represent a technological and pro-family society simultaneously. Israel has one of the most research-intensive tech and business sectors for any developed country, with about 5 percent of its GDP invested in R&D annually. This is noteworthy and overlooked, because many of the current ideological debates among the right and the left are about how the family is at odds with technology. Indeed, much of our catastrophizing is anti-tech and anti-growth.
In the minds of the pessimists, industrialization and growth is the enemy of the planet and the source of our political disagreement. And yet, Israel—a technological powerhouse— is the only developed country that has managed to increase its birthrate above replacement levels (now at 3.1 children per woman) while also making intense technological investments for its future. It’s possible this is coincidence and there are clearly many other factors at play, but my view is that if all of history is a war between the family (tribes) and the state (central authority), technology is likely more aligned with strengthening the family—it’s impossible to a have a family and not be future-oriented and anti-status quo in the same way it’s impossible to build a company or a new technology and not be looking to the next year or the next decade.”
The way that venture capitalists turn to Israel as inspiration for civilization-building is not superficial; calling the Network State “distributed Zion” is not for funsies but rather a matter of thinking in a very serious way about their own nation-state. And how to make it pregnant. They see Israel as a technological state the way they view the growth of their own state and people, the Network State, a technological state.
As a relatively small force in the world, they — like fascists before them, like their inspiration Israel — turn to the matter of increasing their numbers, particularly through eugenics. They are trying to create a new technological super-state — ensuring its growth and survival comes to the fore.
They need to populate their civilization.

It’s no secret that venture capitalists are investing in a host of fertility and genetics startups, including the Peter Thiel x Sam Altman collab to make eggs out of stem cells, called Conception, going to my points about how the Network State could have few or no women and women will be “left behind” by eugenics as they can replace women’s reproductive role by technology in time. It is possible they will try to breed a “better” woman but the misogyny is just so incredibly deep here. Best case scenario is reproductive abuse and coercion within the system to produce maximal offspring.
Over at Bloomberg, Sophie Alexander has a piece on Bootstrap Bio: “A California-startup focused on genetically editing human embryos — a step toward creating so-called designer babies — is raising money as many of Silicon Valley’s ultra-rich turn their attention to one of the most controversial technologies in medicine” … “has raised money from investors, including Simone and Malcolm Collins, who have been linked to billionaire Elon Musk and have been criticized for allegedly promoting eugenics.”
Bootstrap Bio is planning to do testing INSIDE THE NETWORK STATE OF PROSPERA IN HONDURAS: “a plan to begin human trials in 2026 or 2027 in Honduras, a place where the company could potentially avoid US regulations.”
The Network State is a site where unregulated medical experimentation is a #1 priority, and thus it becomes a natural setting for the unfolding of new eugenics technology.
Towards Hyperbreeding
With the United States government coup and its allyship with Israel, the Network State is a new place of relative stability, with the Prospera colony growing, California Forever boring full speed ahead, Starbase locked in as an official city, money coming out their ears, Gaza on the way to them as a reward for slaughtering Palestine.
They will turn even more towards hyperbreeding. Elon Musk is thought to have 12 children, the number is likely much higher in my estimation. How many children can they create? Even without any money or medical support, reproductive abuse in religious and non-religious communities can produce larger numbers than Elon reportedly has.
Praxis Nation currently boasts over 100,000 citizens and they may very well go “babies first, then land”. If each of those citizens produced 5 children one way or another in the next 10 years, that would be 500,000 new children.
I think they will use a number of strategies to accomplish rapid population growth. Obviously just making fertility and child production a pillar of the ideology means that their population will do what the venture capitalists say. Venture capitalist say kill, you kill. Venture capitalist say breed, you breed. They’ll use a host of medical technologies, bring in women for breeding, subsidize population growth, integrate child rearing into the industry, create new school systems — something already well underway.
Edge Esmeralda, the Network State trying to build a town in Healdsburg, California, is verrrryyyy suspiciously focused on the “family”, stating “Edge Esmeralda is a multigenerational community where families thrive together. Last year, we welcomed more than 80 children to our popup village, from 6-week-old babies to teenagers, creating an environment that blends family life and creative work.”
They are literally running Hitler Youth camps in fuckin wine country.
We are facing a scenario where the tech fascists could be producing millions of new children over the next decade or two. They have the power, money, land, technologies, will, intent, and seed population. Hyperproduction of children will also accelerate eugenics technologies, a “virtuous” cycle.
Katherine Boyle has stated: “I think a lot about how organizations scale and the nuclear family simply doesn’t.” Weird ass bitch.
And those children will be ready to work in as little as 15 or 16 years, as their education will be totally devoted to developing them for specific roles within the industry of the Network State.
The Network State is about building, populating, training, growing, a CIVILIZATION. A *new* civilization. With a *new* breed.
Nick Land — one of Marc Andreessen’s favorite philosophers, cited in the Techno-Optimist Manifesto — has talked about exactly this: an elite class using genetic technologies to create a new species. From the Dark Enlightenment essay:
“Approaching the bionic horizon, secessionism takes on an altogether wilder and more monstrous bearing – towards speciation.”
He quotes an extremist publication focused on eugenics, nanotechnology, and genetic engineering, stating “The folks at euvolution capture the scenario well”:
“Reasoning that the majority of humankind will not voluntarily accept qualitative population-management policies, [Joseph] Campbell points out that any attempt to raise the IQ of the whole human race would be tediously slow. He further points out that the general thrust of early eugenics was not so much species improvement as the prevention of decline. Campbell’s eugenics, therefore, advocates the abandonment of Homo sapiens as a ‘relic’ or ‘living fossil’ and the application of genetic technologies to intrude upon the genome, probably writing novel genes from scratch using a DNA synthesizer. Such eugenics would be practiced by elite groups, whose achievements would so quickly and radically outdistance the usual tempo of evolution that within ten generation the new groups will have advanced beyond our current form to the same degree that we transcend apes.”
As Ryan McEntush of a16z’s American Dynamism practice states: “The rules of the future will be written by nations with the populations to back them up. The stakes could not be higher.”
It should not be lost on you, nor is it lost on me, that tech fascism is killing children in Palestine as it prepares to welcome in their own.
