The Larry Ellison Empire And the Explosion of Tech Fascist Media
Larry Ellison is deeply intertwined in the tech fascist plot, though he gets relatively little attention from the roster of juvenile tech critics who only pay attention to the most scandalous quote du jour.
Here are the major components of Larry’s role as an architect of tech fascism:
Oracle, along with Nvidia, is the leading industrial power of the new age of AI computing, and technological backbone of tech fascism
Oracle is a fully zionist tech company with an extensive relationship to Israel and extensive support of the genocide
Oracle is CIA and has been since its infancy
Larry Ellison created an early prototype of the Network State with his purchase of Lanai, Hawaii in 2012
Larry is the architect of the SOVEREIGN CLOUD strategy, aka the new age of AI policing and surveillance that is being built with Anduril and Palantir as we speak. He has wanted this since at least 2002, as this article from 2002 demonstrates, titled “A Single National Security Database”.
Larry Ellison has helped venture capitalists coup America — helping to finance the purchase of Twitter, his long-term support of Trump, his role as a primary architect of Trump’s technology strategy, the fact that Elon Musk is his bestie. People always look at me scandalized when I say that I have a soft spot for Larry Ellison… people who have no fucking idea what is like to track the same group of people for 12 consecutive years and thus cannot understand that given a long enough time period, one develops something akin to “like” or at least “finding likable”. The psychologists and profilers of serial killers report a similar phenomenon. For example, as much as I hate Marc Andreessen, I find it admirable that when Stanford didn’t sufficiently back his spouse’s academic career, he has made it his mission to burn every university in the country down, Menelaus-style. 👏 Fight 👏 For 👏 Her.
Of the few things that Mao and Alexander Karp would agree on is the importance of taking seriously the enemy, which involves some measured assessment of their qualities. In Larry’s case I am frequently impressed with the single-minded, shark-like nature of his constant pursuit and only goal — to have all the data in the world on Oracle — and I also had the opportunity to stay at his beautiful resort in Lanai some years ago, where I enjoyed many meals at Nobu and long naps listening to the waves. 360 degree research is vital in these times.
But today I am here to speak briefly on how Larry Ellison and his heir, David Ellison, are in the process of some major media buys, moving us a great deal further towards the total ownership of the media and all media platforms by tech fascists.
David Ellison, Larry’s son, 42, founder and CEO of SkyDance Media. It has released such movies as World War Z, Life, The Tomorrow War, Star Trek Into Darkness. I particularly enjoyed The Tomorrow War. With an heir to a billionaire like Larry it can go either way, the kid can turn into a complete degenerate fuck up, squandering the sire’s vast fortune, and disappointing his every ambition, but this is very much not the case here. The Ellison Dynasty will continue under a skilled, competent and ambitious offspring.
There are a number of scary things brewing in the Ellison Cinematic Universe. One of course, is that SkyDance is buying Paramount Global in a Trump-approved deal… which means also they will get CBS. This is fucking MASSIVE as far as putting control of the media into tech billionaire hands. Paramount+ has 79 million paid memberships. I am one of them. I love Showtime.
One of the things that I find extremely interesting about the Ellison purchase is that they can hook Paramount the fuck up from soup to nuts and top to bottom with Oracle AI. AI will be coming out of every screen like an octopus. This is a huge market segment for Oracle’s AI. AI coming out the pores like an extraction at Sensei.
Nor does it end there. Ellison is also working towards buying TikTok, joined by Andreessen Horowitz.
TikTok obviously sitting right in the sore spot of cold war with China. TikTok already runs significantly on Oracle infrastructure as part of previous negotiations, this release from 2020:
With this deal, the tech fascist conspiracy will also have TikTok… one of the few refuges of the left on the internet — Twitter being tech fascist, BlueSky being for reactionary liberals and centrist Democrats who hate leftists and have no analysis of capitalism… but TikTok is where the progressive youth is at. Per some recent demos “1 in 4 TikTok users are under 20 years old… 54.8% of TikTok users are female.” And there is a large and global progressive contingent on this platform.
The purchase of TikTok by many of the same people who purchased Twitter — Ellison and Andreessen were less-heralded buyers — is deeply concerning exactly because of this progressive youth audience. Not only giving them a bunch of new data streams, but giving them the ability to manipulate and control these platforms. The left is being shuttled from platform to platform, which are purchased up as fast as they can flee.
Another one!!!! Ellison seems to be interested in purchasing The Free Press, from Bari Weiss… as funded by Andreessen and David Sacks.
Now I am not going to pretend to any of you that I know or give a fuck about who Bari Weiss is, on vibes alone she’s giving sea cucumber in defense mode, but here we are, another data point in this pattern.
One of the big themes in tech fascism is parallel media, or how tech fascism is creating its own media infrastructure both for its own content and to control users. You can read more about some of the other infrastructure, including Rumble, backed by JD Vance, on vcinfodocs.
The whale of Larry Ellison moving further into this terrain is a cause for grave concern. These are data sources for the sovereign cloud. Ways to cut off the development and education of the progressive youth, to interfere in global collaboration. Platforms to pump artificial intelligence into. Propaganda and psyops. A little hole for CIA to squirm into.
This all coming at a moment of rumors that Bezos might be purchasing Conde Nast, which I mainly give a fuck about because Wired is one of the only publications we have doing good coverage of tech fascism, and it seems it is in the crosshairs as well. But certainly another portfolio of media properties falling into tech fascist hands bodes very poorly.
Things are moving quickly. Except for “our side”, which is functionally inert. I feel like the waters are closing in around us most days.
